With all due respect to Sevier County...and they are due much respect, don't place too much emphasis on that USA Today ranking. Shelbyville showed us how much that poll means.

I do agree with what u r sayin but we have also beat the teams that beat Shelbyville. I hope the girls don't let the poll get to them. Is it true that Shelbyville is being followed by ESPN's The Season?

hey schsbears and etsubound1st, either one of you go to schs, just curious. Anyway, any team can be beaten on any night william blount alomst proved that last night, but then sevier decided to show and play a little bit. Powell vs. Sevier should be a great game to bad we wont see it until it decides who goes to substate. And if my mind serves me right the last time these two teams played sevier co won by about 30 which was only 2 yrs ago.

I am on the powell team and when we meet sevier county in the region, it will be a great game to watch and play in....sc is an awesome ball team and they play really well together~I cant wait until we meet! good luck....and may the best team win

Of course you say it didn't mean much you guys got waxed. That will be the same result this year. Also two years ago when we beat you we went on to when the state title. Just like we will this year.
