Oliver Springs...Lost to Seymour which is 5-2

Oliver Springs...Lost to Obion Co which is 9-2 Score 58-50

Oliver Springs...is ranked 19th in the state

 

Livingston Academy...Won against Obion Co. 57-42

Livingston Academy is ranked 4th in AA across the state.

Livingston Academy average margin of VICTORY this year is 21

Livingston Academy averages 67 points a game

Livingston Academy gives Only 46 points average a game.

 

So Oliver Springs you might have beat us once this year in over time. This next meeting will be alot different nobody comes in Livingston and pushes us around.

85warrior, Go to CoachT.com Home, Click on Win/loss Rankings, Click on womens basketball, then go to AA Classification statewide then click. This has Livingston 4th Oliver Springs 19th, and Jackson Co. 20th. I know that Jackson Co and oliver Springs is better than what they are ranked. The rankings doesn't mean anything till the end of the year. Livingston has 1 loss also, its showing 8-0 but they are 8-1

By the way, their 1 loss was Nov. 18 which was before the season started on Nov. 25...So they don't have to put it on their record...Or that's my understanding anyways.

A Loss is a Loss thats the reason they keep score. Livingston Academy has to make it there first before they can play OS. Never under estimate other teams. Anybody can beat Anybody one any given night. If Livingston doesn't pass the ball to open players when they're open they deserve to lose. Your beech just about cost LA against White Co. by not passing the ball. Granted she scores alot but she needs to pass the rock and thats a FACT...Sells

I definately agree with you on this Cat as its definately a team sport and when you get into those big games it will be the best "team" winning. As for the rankings of the teams i think everyone knows how i feel about that, but the one thing i will say in LA's favor as well as that other big team in 7AA, with the schedule that both teams play its almost impossible to go through a season undefeated, you are most assured of 3 or 4 losses just because of the level of competition we play, thats what these other AA schools are just now figuring out, don't know how many times i have been to the state tournament and they call out the records of the teams and most of them have these 32-0, 33-1 or 30-2 records and then they announce the record of the 7AA team out and i have heard some fans saying "how did they get here", "they must stink", but after the final whistle blows all i hear is "our girls just had an off day, sure picked a bad time to do that" and i am sure we will all hear that again this year. As for the game at hand there is no way OS beats LA again, the first time was a great game but i see this one as no closer than 13 points, LA wins big, and hey Wildcat, save me a seat over there as we don't play on tuesday k?

For better comparisons, use the Strength + Success rankings as it takes into account opponents' strength. Those rankings display on the front page of the site from time to time.

 

Women's Basketball S+S Rankings

Just to clear the record... Livingston Academy is 8-1. This was a meeting of two teams, both wearing uniforms, with referees and even a concession stand. Anyone who plays under the above criteria and counts their game only if they win should be ashamed of themselves.

Well I think that Kasey Baltimore, Megan Thompson, and Katrina Beechboard, are the reason why LA is doing so good right now. Although Katrina carries the team quite more than the others do. But their defense is unstoppable...and I can't wait until they beat Jackson County!

Jackson Co. did the exact same thing last year when they lost to Clarkrange...And nobody cared then...Why do they now...
