Oh, you mean Notre Dame. At last count there are three Fighting Irish teams in Tennessee.

bnroo - Let's see how they do against Bradley, Soddy, Baylor, and McCallie. I like the direction of things at ND but its hard to get recognized till your competitive against the top tier teams.

Actually the "Irish thing'" is taken from a team in South Bend IN. All little Catholics boys want to grow up and be RUDY!!!!!!

Rankings are traditionally based on dual meet wins and potential. Teams that place higher than another higher ranked team in a tourney do not necessarily get moved ahead of them in the rankings. Too many factors are at work in tournaments. When they prove they are dual meet tough, then they will get the recognition they deserve and a high state ranking. I don't write the rules, but I have asked the questions before. That is the answer that was given to me.

rawn, I've seen ND and they are good. They have a great coaching staff and I think they will surprise many of those who doubt. I don't know if they'll be able to win it all but I know they will have a say in who does win it. Remember most of the time its better to be the hunter than the hunted. Just lay low and wait until February and prove you belong with the top teams. Thats when it counts.
