I'll go with Peabody in class A.

AA is hard to call. I''ll give the edge to LA over Jackson Co., but I think Gibson Co. does have a better chance than in the past.

I'll go with Mt. Juliet beating Sevier Co. for the AAA state championship.

I know that all that matters is how you perform once you get there, but SC already beat MJ in the greeneville tourny, so that kinda gives them an edge.

If LA continues their sloppy, horrible playing they would be lucky to win a Jr. Pro tournament. I mean...They only had 3 field goals in the entire second half last night against SMITH COUNTY. However, if they play like we all know they can, teams that can beat them are going to come far and few between. I believe they will take it all the way. They have talent, good coaching, and Beechboard. LA ALL THE WAY!

As far as class A goes..have not seen Clarkrange play, but I have seen Peabody play several times. In order to be the man you have to beat the man and in terms of class A ball they have not been beaten. Peabody should win another title.

Class AA will be hard to pick. I agree, in order to be the man you have to beat the man and 7AA has its share of gold balls. This year may be different as Gibson County is playing pretty good. Don't count out Westview either. GC should have a chance this year. GO GC!!

Class AAA...Shelbyville should win...

Don't take too much away from the Night Bird defence. ;)

You cannot be serious Oak Ridge is terrible, I've got two words for ya...SEVIER COUNTY

Exactly...you can't crown Oak Ridge...they have already been beaten by the #1 team in the state Sevier County...AAA Champs.....the most obvious choice.

Go Bearettes :D:D

    • Trinity Christian Academy will host the West Tennessee High School Basketball All-Star games on Saturday.  The girls game starts at 5 and boys will play at 6:30. In the boys game, Mr Basketball finalist Maliki Brooks from Union City is scheduled to compete. On the other side, the ultra talented AJ Morman will be defending the hometown turf one last time. West Tennessee Sports will livestream the two contests beginning at 4:50 pm Saturday.  The broadcast link is https://www.facebook.com/WestTennesseeS1. Stan Gerard will have the call of both games.
    • Do you have contact numbers for these coaches or schools
    • My honest prediction for us this year is that we will be slightly worse than we were last year. I hope I’m pleasantly surprised but I don’t see it happening. Lost some seniors who had been playing since day 1 as freshman. Lost a lot on the line. It will be an uphill battle for us. Hopefully we improve as the year progresses and maybe will have a dog in the fight by playoff time
    • With the loss of 5 players plus losing the 8th graders I can't see Greenback fielding much more than a 18 man team this year and if so the Sunbright game may be their only chance of a win from what I heard this morning.
    • Yes I think Fillies will be really good by end of season.  They are missing their Sr center right now who is a game changer and they are meshing all these freshman with three starting senior guards from last season.  Looking forward to seeing them get better and better.
