103 should be interesting at state

There are several tough kids at 103 this year. Who has beat who? Who has dropped from 112? Any guesses on how it will stack up in February?

I'm pretty sure the soddy kid (is he a freshman) beat rudas. Bird from Northwest beat Cope from Centennial in a rematch (cope won the first one). Martin from maplewood won the Hendersonville tourny, placing over centennial. That is all I've heard about martin all year though. What have the Bradley, Overton, and Red Bank 103's done? Who did Puckett beat to get ranked first?

eddie long(103) from greenback placed third at coke tournment and only an eigth grader he is prety dang good and should do well in region and maybe even state

Kenwood has an impressive 103 that is supposed to be new this year to wrestling.

He had a good showing at Brentwood and is a senior.

Puckett beat Reid Doster from Baylor at the GIT in the finals, he made it look easy,

but I am not sure if he certified. He might being staying at 112 for state.

Puckett beat the Baylor kid at Greenville to give him his first loss. He was also OW at the Halls tournament. Puckett also beat Rudus last year for 3rd & 4th. Puckett is a two time state placer @103 5th and 3rd.

My vote goes to Puckett of Gibbs. He is a physical tough kid and has a good coach in Tim Pittman. Pittman works extremely well with the light weight wrestlers.

Bradley's 103 (Andy Morris) couldn't make weight at Christmas so he isn't going to finish out the season. In his place is Tanner Johnson (who is a freshmen). He is a very good wrestler. Look out for him the rest of the year.

Puckett is my favorite if he can make and hold his weight at the state tourney. He is a veteran who has been there and has a good deal of power.

Eli Puckett is certified at 103 and will wrestle there for regions and state, He will be this years state champion at 103. He is an extremely tough wrestler and the harder the match the better he wrestles.

how is the greenback kid able to wrestle high school in the 8th grade? just curious. i'm all for it, just didn't think it was something that could be done?
