Houston over Germantown by 9 or so. I was wrong in the final score, but my disclaimer was true. Houston bumped very well. Fryman made 130 with the 2 pound allowance. Borneman over Sharp maybe 6-2 or so @ 160. The Grady bumped to 189, where he lost by dec. to Pecor. Matthews drew a forfeit @ 215. Autry bumped to HWT to pin the Germantown kid. That was the crucial stretch. The forfeit at 215 and the pin at 275 really killed Germantown. Resourceful coaching by Houston, along with a lot of effort won this one. Congrats, and see you guys Saturday.

You're right. Sorry, I'm an idiot. I totally forgot about that. Sharp caught Borneman in a cradle with about 20 or 30 seconds left, but Borneman's inside shoulder was on top of Sharp, so he couldn't get the pin. It was a pretty good match. Sorry Germantown folks. That one just slipped my memory. Yes, it was a great dual. I kind of wish it had come down to the last match. That would have been even more exciting, but great job by wrestlers and coaches.

    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.
    • biggest....just saying he is good at what he does. I may or may not have already floated this out his way.   He is a good guy!
    • Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co. • The baseball field is the baseball field. There are no clear favorites. It is a central location so that is why it is the site. This gets talked about every year and it is always the same answer.
