Tank there are girls from OS and I'm sure other District schools who have family members that can't make it to all of the games. My dad for 1 don't ever get to come on Friday nights so showing the disty games even on replay would be GREAT.

I also have a show idea, Have all of the Coach T fans that like to argue on here about who's team is the best and who can beat who dress up as their teams mascot and come on the show and go at it. LOL GO LADYCATS !!!

After re-reading my posts on this thread, I'm left trying to figure out what I got so worked up about! I think this low carb diet has turned me into a less tanned version of John Chaney, and everyone else looks like John Calipari to me. Anyway, I would like to say that despite rumors to the contrary, I think Oliver Springs has a wonderful ladies basketball team, and I hope you win all of your remaining games, (except two) and bring back a state title to our area. I know I always enjoy coachchannell's posts, and OS91, thanks for the Good Luck wish, I think we will need it. Travel safely tomorrow, and don't eat the pickels from the concession stand, they give you gas.

Our signal....just won't make it that far.

BBALLTN was referring to the fact that REAL basketball teams only come from District 7-AA. Everything else is just a cheap imitation.

Games not involving 7-AA teams are nothing more than the imaginative bedtime stories read to small children at night. B)

I would drive to signal distance to watch BBallTN and bbmom on TV

We should get mom's enthusiasm on the show one night...could make things entertaining. I must say, the OS fans have been the best about the show. It is open to all the schools in the viewing area, which I think include 8. They have responded the best and allowed many of their student-athletes to come on the program. Of course, they are rather close to our Oak Ridge studio, which is a 7-iron to Oak Ridge High School.

Without their support, I would have folded the tent up after football season.

Although Goose does a great job covering high school sports in this area, Our student/athletes and coaches sometimes don’t receive the recognition they deserve. Tank and Goose keep up the good work.

Speaking of Goose, everyone wish him a happy birthday today! ;)

    • Eagleville hosting shows laziness on the part of the TSSAA and a complete disregard for the appearance of impartiality. Absolutely nothing against EHS. Its not their fault TSSAA is lazy.    I understand EHS staff work the games at Eagleville, and they don’t want to miss the EHS games. However this isn’t rocket science. It would take less than 1 hour to cross-train EHS and RHS volunteers at the opposite sites. If Eagleville (or any host)  makes the tournament, flip their game site and have the volunteers flip sites for the days their school plays at the opposite site. Magically the school’s fans would be present to watch the their kids play and the kids at least lose some familiarity and home field advantage.  It takes almost no effort and is a ~15 minute extra drive.
    • Great to have Coach Peek back !
    • We feel the pain!
    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
