CBHS may surprise some fans come match time...

I definitely have to agree on this one. They need to have some wins from thier little guys (and they have that ability) but I think their big boys are going to dominate from 52 on up. Don't get me wrong their will be some good matches up there to but I don't see too many of them losing. For once I will say I hope the tide rolls and shows what they are capable of.

I would think your are about as wrong as anyone can be bodylock2. I am gonna defend my fellow West Tennessee wrestlers this time. No team from Region 8/West TN ever gets credit for anything they do. Nobody can make the aruguement that this side of the state accomplishes nothing. Plenty of West TN teams won Middle TN tourneys this year. Collierville won McGavok and Franklin tourneys. Bartlett won Hillsboro or something. Germantown won Hendersonville. CBHS had great showings at numerous out of state tourneys this year. West TN is ready for the state duals, so let Middle/East TN keep overlooking West TN. It'll bite em' in the butt. I have said my peace and good night.

Here's what the CBHS coach said on another thread when someone wished him luck at state duals.

we just hope to do as well as we can, wrestle to our potential, and not embarrass ourselves. We just hope to represent West Tennessee was well as possible.....

So they think they are better than everybody else? Just because a wrestler says his team may surprise some folks doesn't mean he is arrogant. It's a wrestler's job to believe in his teammates. When was the last time you heard a Father Ryan person say, "Man we are way overrated. We are going to lose to Baylor in the first round." You have never heard that. Don't jump all over CBHS for some weak little reason like that. They have talent and self-confidence, not arrogance. Every one of them that I've met has been nothing but nice and respectful. Good luck to all the teams.
