I don't know about now but back when I played their visitors dressing rooms were in the basement under the court. No windows and the walls, floor and ceiling was painted in all red!!! There was one light bulb suspended from the ceiling. You literally felt like you were in the depths of he77!!!! Add to that the students stomped over the top of your dressing room the whole time were you couldn't hear yourself think much less what a coach was trying to tell you. PRETTY COOL!!!

Are you sure you're not thinking about the Wayne Co. Girls Visitor Locker Room?

Frank Hughes in Clifton. They have Pizza Hut pizza, great burgers and hot dogs with all the toppings for both. Very good popcorn and you get a brown bag full. Prices for everything is very affordable. Friday night before the Wayne Co. game they will be holding a B-BQ plates. Sandwish, baked beans, cole slaw and a drink for $5.00. Everyone needs to come out and enjoy good food and a great ball game. Supper starts at 5 p.m.

Walker Valley has a great selection at a very good price! P.S. they need to purchase a popcorn machine and stop selling microwave corn.East Ridge is next and Mcminn then Bradley-but they charge way to much for many of there items. The best popcorn used to be Rhea county-you could get a extra large bag for .50 cent. It's still .50 but half the bag.

Without a doubt, USN near Vanderbilt has the best concessions. They open a regular cafeteria. They have everything from Pizza, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, etc...but they also have fresh "SLICED" fruit. Veggies, Bar-B-Q...they had roast beef and potatoes one night! I have never seen anything like it.

The cleanest men's restrooms (I could not speak the the lady's room) is obviously at Harpeth Hall. It receives little use during the week. They have tile floors, flowers, artwork, and the soap they provide smells great. It is almost as nice as the club!

Okay...back to the backgammon discussion! And watchout for the cars!

Hard to beat that home-cooking you get at Shelbyville and South Greene.

As far as clean restrooms, here's a vote for Big Sandy. Even have an attendant who hands you a towel and sprays you with cologne there.

At least I think I was in Big Sandy.

That wasn't big sandy....Those are old locker rooms and an old school!! Locker rooms are the size of a closet!! Not big sandy...

    • I don't know what's going on in the town of McMinnville, but I've read this and it's disturbing.  I'm a "player" person, and I want what's best for the player. If a player gets cut off the team because she said the "F word" then good grief. I mean, come on guys. I wish there was a way for the player to transfer to a different program and just play ball. There are a lot of athletes that are stuck because they're in crappy situations regarding their team/coach. This is player just happens to be one them.
    • Won't happen. College coaches will back the coach every time and it cost this young lady her senior season. Looks like the player may be right on this one. School let her  go after one season. This stuff happens more than you think.
    • “No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team.” For language? I’m not seeing that as a dealbreaker.
    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
