no, if willys team that can "beat any team in tennessee" has already tried twice and FAILED both times, columbia probably couldn't do it. but i'm happy for you that losing by 8 is satisfying!

I am so terribly sorry Columbia, I never meant for our team to beat you. We swept yall this year and thats that. The reality is, Steve is not Tyler, We beat yall twice this year, and we are no longer concerned with Columbia what so ever. I repeat, WE ARE TRYING TO WIN ANOTHER GOLD BALL, and we dont want to argue with a bunch of upset fans who cant accept the fact that we beat yall twice, and Tyler just basically smashed Steve's head as well as everyone else on Columbia with quite a few dunks . So Columbia fans and players, shut your hole and stink up the fact that this year we are better than you. Dont worry, youll have your shot next year, until then just accept the fact that we won!!!

Willy, not all Columbia fans have dogged Giles County. I do think it was a little harsh saying Columbia only has one good player and if you think that then you don't know the game. One Columbia player stole the ball away from Smith more than once, and they had 3 in double figures. Giles County has many good players and should go far. Maybe Columbia and their rookie coach can get it together next year and have a better year and play a closer game. Hope your team goes all the way.

sweepingup, by hanging with the best team in the state twice in a season, when Bradley was picked to win by 20 at times, Giles proved to many doubters that they are the same calibur team as last year's team! You know, the one that won the State Championship? And no, losing by 8 is never satisfying, but nearly beating a 3A team like Bradley is more than satisfying! I mean, what did we prove by playing the Puerto Rican national champions in Bristol? They had a 7'3" guy on their team, and we were up at the half, but only lost by 10! What would you have said if we had gone to like Ardmore for a Christmas Tournament and beaten everyone by 50?

These games showed the entire state the type of talent Tyler has! If you weren't there the first time he dunked over 2 Bradley players to begin the game! (A lot like how he embarassed Steve the other night!) Also, could you please show me where I said we could "beat any team in Tennessee"?? I said that "we play 3A teams in order to prove ourselves"! I love the way you just pull quotes out of nowhere! What i meant by that was we play the Bradley's and Brentwoods instead of rinky dink high school in order to pad our record and stats! (and no, that's not a bash on columbia!)

Maybe since Columbia is going to be so awesome next year, they should schedule some team's like Bradley! Then, maybe we could see those awesome Giles vs. Columbia rivalry games of the past! But until ya'll get on our level its just not going to happen!

yall haven't been scheduleing teams like bradley for that long so i don't want to hear that mess. yeah we're not on yalls level( this year), but after yalls program (tyler) leaves alot of teams are going to be on yalls level. including us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

weewilly, on 12/22 you said it, also on 12/10 you said gc would beat col by 30...and state champion of 2A, not the big boys. next rematch, don't be surprised if whitestation beats bradley by 20. i hope not, but very likely. and didn't whitestation beat those tall pr's by 20 plus. so maybe ws is 30 plus better than gc? tyler is GREAT, no doubt, i love to watch anyone with his skills play the game, but your "level" came with tyler and it will most likely leave with tyler. i seem to remember you splitting with col last year, you needing o/t at your house...by the way, i'm pulling for g/c to win state again, i'll probably go watch even though my lions won't be there, and i hope tyler does some serious thinking before choosing buzz and the vols.
