There has already been posts on how Hall's stats are better against winning teams than against sub .500 teams. So you can throw that arguement out the window.

Unless something changes, I'll be nominating Hall, Johnson and Beechboard in Class AA and although I hope Hall wins, any of the three would be a great choice.

Livingston has had more close games than Seymour by far. I would say Beechboard has a lot more minutes than Johnson.Brooke has had probably 6 games this year that she barely played 2 quarters. Minutes are no excuse. Strength of schedule I can buy, minutes are a poor excuse.

I don't think your team should have to make it to the state tournament for you to be a Mr./Miss B-ball nominee, but I believe they should at least have a shot at it. It just shows leadership-plus, if you're that good, you should be able to at least make your team a contender.

For all the numbers Eason and Richardson have put up, their teams have done squat. Reed and Cowley have both taken teams that lost a substantial amount of their firepower and made them into state contenders. Eason and Richardson will still probably get noms just because they did last year. They are both good players, but I think there are others who deserve it more.
