Guest duckincrazy
LaVergne has a lot....you'll be suprised. Plus they have new coaches that actually care about LaVergne and not trying to go somewhere else. They could be the BIG suprise in Mid TN. The cupboard is far from "bare". Wushy101
Lavergne has a defense but we did lose all our pitching. The outfield is set w/ William Vaugn starting since a freshman in right and John Allen in left and Zach Dean in center...a couple of young guyz will be stepping it up and we should have some good sticks. Dont count Lavergne out...i still disagree with Wilson Central being able to hit...but maybe they have gotten better. Mt Juliet will probably be the toughest team in 9aaa. Noragarm
WOW.I can't wait to see Smyrna surprise some people this year. They have some outstanding sticks in Taylor,Scott ,Robertson and James.Pitching is solid they have 5 solid arms in Haynes,Williams,Weaver,Gannon and Mooney.Should be interesting year in Smyrna.Don't look for Lavergne to be near top they lost alot of talent zoned for them when Blackman opened.these are Blackman players that would have been zoned for Lavergne(J.Andru,K.Motley,N.Horton,J.Seely,R.Nell,J.McDaniel,M.Barnes,and R.Cole)also losing coach Reavis to Siegel will hurt.Where will Lavergnes pitching come from?I would expect Hendersonville and Mt.Juliet to have the strongest squads based on seeing what there kids do during the summer on such travel teams as BigDogs and Athletics.Based also on previous games i've seen Wilson Central play I believe they are a bit overrated. They have A outstanding pitcher but one player wont carry them.I would love to see Lavergne,Smyrna, andWilson Central replace Lebanon,White Co.,andWarrenCo. in district 7AAA. Noragarm
I would have to place them in whatever aaa district they are geographically closest to.
lethal10
Lavergne is always a great team, but i think this year with the losses of players from last year, it will be a regrouping year, even though they have talent. I see White House finishing above them if they play to there potential. White House had a very good summer team, but lavergne was a bit shakey. Though summer "doesn't matter" both teams played in the summer with there upcoming highschool team. We played both, and whitehouse was a tougher opponent. Noragarm
I may have to change my earlier prediction about Smyrna.I was recently told of 4 players that have injuries for them.Gannon Robertson Taylor 'and another that I'm not sure of .Can anyone confirm these . Also heard they had a transfer ( Carl Seals) does anyone know what his eligability will be?
wildcat13mom
Don't know about requirements, but Seals played for Ezell last year, just transferred this year. Doesn't that make him ineligible for Varsity?
jojomas
Gannon is out for the season...Tommy-John Surgery. I don't know about everyone else.
Noragarm
I'm sorry to hear that about Andrew Gannon.I still remember watching him play catcher when he was 12 and threw kids out at second from on his knees behind the plate. His arm was always one of his best weapons.
