I noticed on the TSSAA website that the Collinwood Boy's job is open. Is there any chance Michael Edwards a former coach in the County might be interested in the job?

Don't know about Edwards, but I have heard rumors of Joe Gray being considered. I hope Collinwood looks at as many candidates as possible before making a decision. I'm afraid there won't be very many coaches apply for the job. I hope I'm wrong. This could be a good opportunity for a coach willing to come in and work hard and get some of the kids to leave the hallways and onto the court. There is some talent in Collinwood. We just need a good coach to develop it.

Edwards would be a great fit at Cwood. His hard work ethic would turn things around , but I seriously doubt he would be interested or a canidate.

Edwards would definitely bring a winning tradition back to cwood. I heard he has a son who is a future baller. Wouldn't it be ironic if he were to transfer to cwoood like bryant did to the boro.

I would like to see the job go to one of Wayne County's most underrated basketball coaches and that is Bob Turman. Anyone close to the program during the Edwards Dynasty knows hands down that Bob was the brains and the workhorse behind the operation. And if Bob is not interested, I would look no further than Collinwood Middle School where the winningest coach in Tennessee Middle School Basketball history resides.........the Legend Larry Nelson. Congratulations to Coach Nelson on another great season and a final four appearance.

What happened to Horton? Did he resign or get asked to resign?? Rumor has it that he wasn't even the first choice for the job when he took it.

horton was offered a buisness to buy he took it he statred to take it last season but he couldn't leave calton robins and calton would he have been back next year maybe maybe not but he will be buying a buisness and doi'n more of what he wants

What kind of business? The Turman/Nelson post was really funny. What about Jace Bryant as coach. He's ready to graduate college, right? That would be cool pitting him against his brother.

Howard "Bear" Spears has reportedly been seen in the Collinwood area over the past few weeks . Is he just enjoying the nice town or working up a coaching deal.
