Fastest Distance runners in Tennessee

DL has some mighty strong 800 runners this year and i think they will suprise some people this year

Just curious- do you know who was on DLHS's Highland Games 4x8? Do you have 800m runners faster than them? that was a good close race between FRA an DL...

Im pretty sure it was 1:55, but it might have been 1:56.... Its kinda ironic that thats his "weakest" event.....

When did he run this time??? I never heard about him going sub 1:58..

I was pretty sure he ran that at sectionals last year, but Ive been unable to find anywhere with sectional results, so that time was from memory

Hmm, Im going to hope that this was just overlooked, not ignored, so Ill top it- Ill go ahead and tell you that FRA had its top 2 800 runners in their 4x8, and the other two spots are up for grabs. I was just wondering if DL had a group of 4 studs somewhere they were going to surprise us with or if the team at the highland games was it, because if thats your team, it should be some good competition between FRA and Dl this year. If not, well- I guess youll run away with state again this year.

Clay Hannah goes to wilson central i belive. we has one of the states top XC runners. i doubt a fast 3200 wouldn't be supprising from him

Hannah had a monster finish to XC season. He runs for Lebanon and finished 4th in the state AAA XC meet, running 15:41, only 3 seconds behind Herringshaw. You'd think he'd be able to put up a 9:50 or something in that neighborhood off that kind of XC time. I've never met him, but he's got some really nice folks I met at a meet in Smyrna.
