I think the answer to that brain-buster is YES! McMinn County will go to state again this year, and might even win it (I said might, so get your panties out of a wad if your reading)!

Farragut is the best team I've seen so far this year. They are my bet to win state in AAA. CBHS did beat them 2-0 and have won the last three years so they are and will be the favorite until someone knocks them off. A'AA LC has a great squad and CAK is still on top until tourny time.

It is pretty much guaranteed that CBHS will win DII. But i will say that i do not think that middle TN will put up a very good showing this year, i think baylor mccallie, knox catholic, all those team would win DII middle region (Bga may be abelt o beat some of htem)

I don't know if CBHS is a lock nickforte, but they are the favorites until they lose in the tourney. I agree that Catholic, Baylor, and McCallie are probably in the top five division two teams this year. The only problem is only two of them will move on to state. The teams I think have a chance of winning state (in all classifications) are:

 

DII- CBHS, MUS, Knox Catholic

A/AA- CCS, LC, CAK

AAA- Farragut, McMinn County, Germantown Houston, Oak Ridge

East: Knox Catholic and McCallie

West: CBHS, MUS, and possibly ECS

Middle: MBA, BGA, and someone else

Ok, Everybody needs to stop worrying about it. Kingston is going to state. I've been to some of their games and I have to say, they have plenty of offense in Drew McMillin, Kyle Roschli, and the Scarborough brothers. They have the best keeper in the state,Michael Day. They also have a freshman this year, Bill Frasure, who appears to be the most physical player around. So, whoever is next up to play Kingston better watch out.

Let's now seriously consider McMinn. Did anyone see this coming? They beat Bearden, Catholic, and just took Farragut wire-to-wire, a team that completely embarrassed them last year at state.
