McCallie VS CBHS Friday 4/1

I think that this game will potentially be the best game this year until tourney time. If the McCallie defense holds up against the pressure they may be able to get a win.

In one phrase i could say mcCallie has a chance, a chance of 0 the lack of defence will hinder them and they do not have a hear t of a lion.

CBHS 4 McCallie 0. I love McCallie's team, absolutely love them, but CBHS is just too strong at every position to lose especially after putting that 2-0 whupping on Farragut. In DII, it will probably come down to Catholic, CBHS, and MUS. That's just the way I see things turning out.

I think that you are underestimating the defense of McCallie. From what I heard, Farragut dominated the CBHS game and that they should have won that game. Farragut had very few real good looks at goal against McCallie and the only score that they had would probably been stopped if Trey Meyer Mcallie's first string goalie had even been at the game. It should be a good game if McCallie has all of the first string defensive players at the game. They keep going on scholarship trips.

McCallie wins it's first game of the Bearden tournament and CBHS may be next. If McCallie lets CBHS control the game like they let Oakridge and plays the ball in the air the whole game, I doubt that they will be able to hold off CBHS. We'll see tonight.

sounds like mccallie held their own... and maybe Christian Brothers was lucky that Trey Meyer wasn't playing... not downing mccallie's backup, but i will say it is VERY difficult to score on him

Trey hurt his arm in the oak ridge game. Hopefully, he should be back for next weeks tournament in Atlanta. On McCallie's backup, Alex Crabtree, I think he is the best backup in state. He would definately start for most teams.

 

McCallie did hold its own they played with a lot of effort, but I think for most observers it was apparent that CBHS was the more talented team. A very well played game. I think come tourney time these two will see each other again.

What is CBHS like this year as well as Oak Ridge and McCallie. This is not an insult at all. I've seen great results out of all three teams and then ones that would seem uncharacteristic. Any feedback would be great.

CBHS is bar none the best team in the state this year. I've had a chance to see almost all of the really good teams in the state and I think CBHS is the team to beat. They're setting up a little bit of a dynasty it apears!
