Tell me how some of these teams have been doing with off-season workouts. Which team has made the biggest strides with the weights and speed training since the end of last season. Also, who is everybody scrimmaging this spring?

Oneida is making great strides. Every grade level is working to get stronger. We scrimmage Union Co. and Wartburg in the spring whic hshould be two good match-ups.

I plan on covering your scrimmage with Wartburg. Pennyplay, who looks like they are ready for a big year for Oneida?

Louis Armstrong is gaining a lot of stregth and will most likely be the premier wideout for Oneida. Rhyne Douglas(torn ACL at Sunbright lat year) is regaining his stregth and should be back to his regular form if not better. The LBs are making huge gains in the weight room and could have a great year. It is hard to jugdgeright now because a lot of players are in baseball and soccer but Oneida should have a good year, and could make a lot of noise. These upcoming seniors were runner-ups for the state championship their eigth grade year and could make some noise like that again. Of course that game was against Harriman so maybe all that info is irrelevant, we will see soon enough.

Yeah they beat us that year.....{we had alot of guys hurt} then we beat harm

Nobody has really said anything about Midway, but I believe they have most everyone bck from last years team.

I believe they do have everybody returning.

Midway has 15 seniors returning, they will most defenitley be one of the favorites for the Region championship.

Oneida has around that number returning all battling for spots, even though 7 or 8 are in soccer or baseball.

Greenback lost a lot of seniors last year but we have a lot of "diamonds in the rough" We will certainly miss the seniors but i think everyone is going to take the challenge and step it up a notch. Greenback needs a lot of work defensivly but other than that i personally think we look all right.

 

But then again...I am partial

Well.. I played with some of Greenback's younger guys today. I am a girl who can barely lift 50 lbs. on bench press and i was takin some of those guys out. Pretty sad... but then again there were some guys that i think have some great potential if they are worked with.
