I love rumors like that. Alcoa is only losing two players to other schools and one of them was someone who never would have played anyway. The only player Alcoa lost to another school of any value was Bart Hicks and by the way some of the boys have been talkin they are glad he left. Bart, just a warning, i dont think you will make it past the kickoff man. Good luck anyway though. But anyway, Alcoa will dominate everybody. we did it this past year and only lost six seniors. If alcoa can find replacements in the secondary and a couple of places on the o-line than everybody else should prolly wait until 2006 to challenge them again.

If the team stays in tact, you have to give the nod to Alcoa this season. I know Sweetwater has already had spring practice and while I was unable to attend it, heard some reports and talked to some coaches.

Some things that really interest me is the fact that Sweetwater's line will be much improved from last season. Toward the end of the season, I thought they were blowing some major holes open and yes...even against the great Alcoa. So if they are even better, Dustin Latham may have another great season.

Something else I like: Sweetwater is playing around with the I formation. Latham is the tailback and in front of him is Malachi Blomstrom...who filled in for Latham during his injuries and is quite frankly a bull.

If the line is solid and they line that duo up and smash it down people's throat...it could be very interesting. Take away the turnovers and they will be hard to beat. Jeffery Moore will have to replace the breakaway threat of Jam Ferguson, along with a couple of dynamic younger runners. The QB will need to really transform into a leader, which I think is possible. But to be honest, if the line does their job, all the QB needs to do is find the right guy to hand the ball to.

Sweetwater was in the game against Alcoa, even in the playoffs. I know that sounds crazy, but you ask the Alcoa defensive line, who spent most of the game on their rears, how good Latham and company were. A rash of turnovers just killed them, but Alcoa is indeed a fantastic team...although I have no problem in agreeing with what Kingbrian said earlier.

I started this post and seeing the team lift weights and then seeing them after school throwing and catching, Alcoa will dominate this region. and at first i thought i was imagining, but i saw Darius Sudderth out there at Defensive back and he looked awesome! everybody that follows Alcoa knows what kind of athlete he is. can anybody help me on this i heard that Joei Fiegler and Brandon Warren were invited to the Nike Camp, is there any truth to this?

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
