TOP 10 BEST FRESHMEN IN TENNESSEE

I don't know if he is one of the best in the state, but I didn't want to start another thread. Sequatchie's Steven Kilgore hit .314, despite the added pressure of catching for the first time ever. He had an extra inning gamewinning home run in a district game the other night. Seq saw a lot of good pitching even though they only played about 25 games, Marion, Hixson, East Ridge, Grundy, Lookout Valley, Soddy-Daisy, Red Bank among the opponents. Like I said, maybe not among the state's best but worthy of mention and a player to remember the next three years.
