Ok...lets think about this for a sec. Pope didnt lose anyone from the last year squad. It was the first varsity season, so how are they gonna stink like always?

 

The quarterback, Kyle Bagwell, last year threw for over 1,000 yards in 6 and a half games. They got a wideout, Golden Tate, that is only a sophmore running a legit 4.5 40 with great hands who didnt drop one ball last year.

 

Goin to the defense...the defensive line will be great next year. Remember the name Gershom Jordon. The boys gonna be a junior next year, he's now 6'5, 285, and hes recieved letters from Auburn, Ohio State, and UT. Courtney Coffey...he'll be a sophmore next year and he got third in the state in wrestling...he will be playing nosegaurd. He is 5'11, 215, and benches over 300 and squats 500, as a freshman. He will whoop some ###### next year along with Gershom on the d-line.

 

 

SO PLEASE TELL ME HOW WE ARE GONNA stink NEXT YEAR?

JP2 and Father Ryan are not playing in a regular season game until the 2005 season due to the current D2 divisions. However they are playing them in a scrimmage with a real game type atmosphere and planning on beating them soundly....something JP2 hasnt been able to do yet in football. JP2 did give them a beating on their homecourt in basketball and pope is ready to beat Ryan in football and it should be an intense game since no one from either school can stand each other

If JP2 can muster a 5-5 record...it will be a successful year. For a second year team, even without loosing anyone, its still hard to match up with other regional schools. All in all, good luck to guys.

why did this turn into an argument between the catholic schools? shouldn't yall get along? anyways- i'd say that within the next few years PJPII will be over .500 in DII-A. Who is that really big kid who played basketball?
