A/AA State Tournament Bracket

Lenoir City, CAK and Martin Westview are my favorites to win this, FRA, will not hang with CAK and lose 2-1.

I have sat and watched a game that CCS played and their parents were very obnoxious then too. I played them and thought their team was a class act but when I sat in the stands that day I was embarrassed that they were associated with a Christian school. I do believe they we're also one of the best teams in state but they had two chances to win games and didn't get the job done so they aren't good enough. Now for my state predictions:

 

How were the parents acting obnoxiously, and which game was it that you saw? If you're from CAK, your parents also are obnoxious, because our parents heard one dad in particular watching the CCS-LC game who repeatedly said "Grab and tackle, grab and tackle, that's all they know how to do". Anybody who has played us or seen us play knows thats not our style in any way. Careful about predicting your own team to win state...

 

Cambo has talked smack on here about CCS, just not that post. Also, stating that CCS is much better than Boyd is not trash talking. True we should have been able to put teams away that we should have, but I was referring to a post where somebody said that CA would bring the same kind of game that CCS would. That's just not the case. They won, and deserved it. No excuses, from here. It was as simple as us not being able to score.

Im happy to see Westview isnt being hated on, but I dont believe we should be considered among the favorites Invasion. East Tennessee controls A/AA soccer in Tennessee.

Just take it one game at a time twinkles. CA is a good team as is everyone else playing in this tourny. A scrappy Hume-Fogg and Westview team will battle it out in the other game. Concentrate on FRA. We'll worry about a possible match-up if we are both fortunate enough to make it. Good luck to everyone.

Match 1- CA vs. LC is at 10:30

 

Match 2 - Hume-Fogg vs. Westview is at 1:00

 

Match 3 - CAK vs. FRA is at 11:00

 

Match 4 - Sheffield vs. CSAS is at 1:30

Go FRA! I think that its a huge dissapointment to see FRA matched up with a tougher team than HFA, but I guess thats the way things go sometimes. I hope FRA doesnt worry about seedings and #### like that, but goes out there and shows the state what they can do- Ive seen them play and their pretty unbelievable....

I agree with you that you don't play dirty. Some parents though think they know more than they do in actuality and say dumb things like that. I would like to apologize for that parent. As for predicting my own team to win state I believe we have a very strong chance and if I don't believe we can win it ourselves then I shouldn't even go. That's what I think.

Fra without question, they are the best team in state, best team as a whole i have played against in my career, they are solid in every position and they don't give up goals. The rest of state is no match, since they had their reality check against us, they have killed everyone else and will continue to do so.

So FRA is mortal! They lost to Notre Dame and BA. Not doubting they are good, but any team is beatable on any day. It's tourny time.
