GradfromtheNest
Somebody let us know what he decided to do! He's looking at what, a couple million signing bonus? I still say stay at Vandy!
HTV
Somebody let us know what he decided to do! He's looking at what, a couple million signing bonus? I still say stay at Vandy! He's quoted in the Knoxville News-Sentinel this morning as saying that he's leaning towards signing with the Twins. He expects to be playing rookie ball in Florida in 3 weeks. Honestly, that seems to be the right decision for him. The money is just too great to turn down, and he will get an education annuity as a part of his contract. It's a win/win for him and the Twins. STATEment04
gradfromthenest... this is the first time i strongly disagree with you... your statement put me over the edge and forced me to buy a star for $12.... this is not an attack but why would you turn down 1-1.5 mil to go to college... think about this... it has been his dream his whole life to play pro baseball and he is getting the chance and making a lot of money... he can always go back and get an education if it doesnt work out. Most people go to college to learn and train for a job, but in his case, he is getting that job so why should he go to vandy... i understand if he wasnt getting much of a signing bonus but he is..... let me say this again... it is not an attack on you. it is just the completely opposite opinion..
