Collin Humphrey, a junior at Portland High School, will run for 1200 to 1500 this year for the Panthers. He runs a 4.5 and also plays in the defensive backfield. Look forwar to seeing him play this year. Portland plays White House next Friday and will be a good test right out of the gates.

Hey coachrop is this vaughn kid the cousin of former Mr. Football Jeffery Vaughn? I have heard that he is more talented than the afore mentioned Vaughn. Must have not came through the jr. high ranks or would have seen him. But then if he came from one jr. high he would have never gotten used like the assisstant coaches would have liked. What a dictatorship.

Coach 75 Josh is the nephew of Jeffrey the 1988 3A mr. Football. Josh is a very talented FB player with a great head on his shoulders. Wonderful kid to be around.

He unfortunately did not don the black and gold or purple and gold of the feeder programs. He probably would have made a good middle school end. Military family that transfered in from TEXAS. I think Wesley Smith of Scott County will be excellent if he can stay healthy and recieve good blocking. Possibly even a D1 prospect, Great kid!!

Don't forget David (Day-Day) Gaston, who is a junior at Knoxville Central.

 

 

Gaston is extremely quick, and will gain over 1000 yards this season if he stays healthy. However, little or no respect is given to him in preseason publications, which is OK with "da coach". Gaston will shock many in the KFL this year. You can count on it.

Xavier Skaggs of Dobyns Bennett im not sure if he is playing, but if he does he could be great. He is 6'1" and about 210lbs. He is explosive and has a very fast first step.
