How good is JCS? Offense good? Defense good?

JCS blew Northside out of the water in the Sports Plus Jamboree yesterday night. I was not able to watch any of this game because Liberty was warming up but from what I hear JCS is athletic in all areas.

 

I talked to a Northside player today and asked him if JCS was that good or was Northside that bad, well of course he isn't going to admit that his own team is bad but he said JCS was opening up huge holes in the running game.

 

 

JCS should be good in the future also, two running backs Seth Doyle and Nick Thompson are just Soph's.

Nick Melton...not Thompson...Jamborre's are not always good signs as game situations are different...but JCS did look very good...line is really strong...passing game is good...

Ooops my bad. Thanks, Nick Melton is going to be a force to be reckon with by his senior year, well he already is now.

 

How does their WR's and WR depth look?

jcs looked great friday night. They have a good passing game. Don't recall him missing a pass. they have to good rb's. Not big kids but they run really hard. They look like a well coachted team. On defece they looked good also. Beat a 4a school 21-0 in a 20 min game.

JCS looked good in the passing game. They was slinging the ball around and catching everything. Northside started sliding downhill end of last year and will keep going this year. They lost alot of starters last year so i don't expect much from them.

How can anyone predict this without them playing a real game yet? We will find out how good they are this Friday against DCA.

Hey SFFAN...how is South Fulton this year...I hear you where going to scrimmage Trinity...I know Trinity is way down...how did you do against them?

JCS actually doesn't play DCA until the 27th...but you are right it will be a huge test early...DCA has a great running game and a solid team...

JCS looked pretty good at the jamboree. However, If Ross can stay healthy I think USJ will win the region.

 

Wonder how Fayette Academy will be this year after losing Bodiford?

yeah, VG, DCA will travel to Jackson this year. Ryan Ross is a great athelete and he will have a huge year for USJ. We will have our hands full with him and USJ for sure. Have not heard much about Fayette. They lost Bodiford and Thomas which accounted for a big part of their offense. Feathers will be back, likely at QB but don't know much else about them.
