So what do you think about Williamson County soccer this year??

Brentwood

Centennial

Fairview

Franklin

Independence

Page

Ravenwood

I am looking forward to seeing what Franklin comes back with after winning the soccer title last year.

Centennial should be solid.

I don't know much about Brentwood's team this year??

The new Independence team should be fun to follow and see how they compete with freshman and sophomores.

I've heard Page is up and down. They have some good return players.

Fairview... I don't know anything about them...

Ravenwood finally has seniors (this is their 3th year as a school).

The Dynasty known as Franklin is SOLID. Taryn Holland (junior) as third year starter at keeper, along with a host of speed and skill will have to work hard, but should overcome challenges from Brentwood and Centennial.

A little susceptable to rough play (they prefer finese) but if they are forced to mix it up with Brentwood's physical style of play they will rise to the occasion.

are you serious BGA isnt even in your rankings? BGA can and WILL dominate Williamson

County this year its crazy! You should have been at the game tonight they killed those Harpeth Hall Honey bears! Watch out for BGA! Watch out!...... Watch out

Actually, I wasn't "ranking" anyone in Williamson County... I was just listing the public schools and asking what people thought about their teams. (They are listed in alphabetical order.... :) )

Fairview is led primarily by Sophomores and they are a growing program.

This is a team to watch that has gone unoticed until now.

They might just surprise a few teams. I think Page beat them 1-0 but only scored in the last 4 minutes and Fairview lost to Harpeth 3-1 without their

starting keeper in the 2nd half.

GO JACKETS ! ! !

:( I think it will be a battle between Franklin and Centennial. I don't think Brentwood is as strong as they were last year but I don't know for sure. I think Ravenwood will be better but still developing. Page is just a mess but with Mike Burgoyne as their coach they might be headed in the right direction. I don't know much about Fairview. I know "Lil' Willie" who is a player at Independance this year. She scored the first hat trick of Independance history (which is not even a year). Surprisingly I think Independance will dominate their (JV) games they play. :(

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
