Playing armchair QB for a second, why would a heavy underdog go for a low percentage FG when down 2 scores to a powerful offense?

Do you even understand who Riverdale is? They are the #11 team in the country, and playing a close game with them for 3 quarters is no small feat. Especially when you are a 1A team going against a 5A squad.

Muff, I thought CPA scored twice the amount expected in this ballgame. Granted, 21 points came in the first half and the last 7 points came off a turnover deep in their own territory. Overall, Riverdale figured out CPA's offense by the second half and shut them down except for the turnover. Riverdale was tested and passed. Mostly, they probably learned some things tonight and will be better prepared next week.

Hey CPA doesnt have anything to be ashamed of. most people thought this wouldnt be close but the score is a little misleading. Riverdale better control the ball better and stop turning it over.

CPA had chances to make this game REALLY interesting in the first half after a kickoff fumble but threw an INT on the 1 yd line....woulda loved to see what woulda happened if the score would have gotten tight CPA played good but was a few plays away here and there on offense from keepin it close in the end
