honestly how could fabry look terrible when he threw for 122 yards..with no time at all to throw.. or any blocking at all. come on now . If you can honestly say that he looked terrible when in the first half they should have scored twice in the redzone. I pity that thought. thats way too much to say about one player when he tried all night to get stuff going. Terrible, defiently not! did you even see the game. really yeah he threw some picks but if we are gonna talk about that lets compare with the other qb. And one he got smashed right before he threw it so that one really was thrown in the air from the velocity when he got hit. wow! I love critics.

well seriously, this game was very ugly. neither team to me could hang with a team such as oak ridge, tyner, maybe even ooltewah(with their running back). the quaterback from soddy was saved a few times by his receivers and on one play though the receiver got hit in the chest and reflected right to a red bank kid, plus the sure touchdown on the first series if he had threw it a foot farther and the receiver didnt have to wait on the ball., the db was burnt. Fabry looked good at first. one reason because Soddy has no secondary, and two the little number 2 can catch. after that though he started to put to much air on the ball and that equals pics. Soddy i think finally found themselves a running back, because colbert looked very good. not sure how many yards he had but he can run. Anyways both teams have got to hold on to the ball combined for like 8 turnovers. i know it is soddy's first game but still if we had opened up with a better team we would have a L not a W. enough of that, im looking forward to seeing them play more though.

Ok i know your biased since your screen name says so but thats ok..Fabry DID look terrible though..He underthrew about 3 balls on short hitch routes wwhen the SD line was no where near him..And one of his INT's was just a terrible decision..he dropped back didnt find anyone and just threw it up into the air(No SD rusher touched it either) then Soddy picked it off..I was for RB but like neither team so im unbiased i just simply thought Fabry played badly

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
