Valdosta, Ga's Stadium

Didn't Brentwood Academy have a home & away scheduled with Valdosta several years ago and everything fell apart at the last minute? Maybe it had something to do with Valdosta traveling too many miles.

Just wondering if anyone has what the total cost of the new Field House and Coaches offices at Dobyns Bennett is going to cost, Also does anyone have pictures.

I moved before I got to see any of the field house going up, but I have heard that it is going to be a great place.

The new DB Field House is 3.5 Million (actually valued at over 4 million but connections got total cost down to 3.5) and and most of it was through donations.

I live in Elbert Co., and there is nothing like an Elbert co HArt co game in the granite bowl. The biggest stadium is full to watch the best rivalry in ga.

The Brainerd - Howard game is prob the biggest rivalry in the state.

Yea, and just think, they made everyone pay $10.00 to watch that game at Finley Stadium.

Last year the gate for the elbert vs hart game was around $50,000

That stadium is placing artificial turf down too..

Just wondering what do the people on here think is better Artificial or Real?

Like I said earlier. Having played on both FieldTurf and grass. FieldTurf is much better. Old school astro turf is the worst. With all of the schools in Tennessee looking to make budget cuts I don't understand why more schools dont install it. It drains better than grass. It's cheaper to maintain and it just looks better than dead grass in the Fall and Winter. There are many teams in California, Texas, Ohio, and Georgia that have installed it. I have never heard a complaint about it.

This is Parkview High in Lilburn,GA. One of the best teams in GA. Stadium looks good with that Jumbotron thing on the scoreboard.Also UT fans will love their endzones.

You have to be kidding about Dr. Register and Central. Check out any of the stadiums in So. Ga. Football IS serios business down there. Some coaches may make triple what a teacher does, and that doesn't include the perks the community throws in.

That place is great! The only other place i have seen thats just as good is that place in South Carolina that was on here a little while ago.
