BIGR35
East has alot of coaching problems. Some of the coaches were cussing out coach smith in the 2nd half. I was standing rigth behind the team when it happen. I would not want my son playing for coaches like that. Coach Smith needs to fire the trouble making coaches. I think coach Seals was one of the Coaches, He was cussing and yelling at his players. These kids are doing the best they can, cussing themout will not help. East has had alot of injury that has hurt the team on bothsides of the ball. This team has good players, but how are you going to have a team, when the coaches cannot get along. I hope I am not the only East High fan see what's going on. This team is spit because the head coach and the defense coach is having major problems. I also heard their is a race problem on the team? that hurt white player do not have to practice and they get to start. black players are told that they are not hurt and must earn they starting postion back! I got this from one of the players. Someone please tell me what's going on. I am going to see more West High games, because atlease Coach Woods takes the blame when things go wrong. I am a east high fan, but I can know longer goto any more games the way things are.

KevB1990
East's problem is complex... Their QB is a sophomore...talented but young. They lost their top rushing threat and top receiving threat to graduation. Their best athlete in the school is playing golf and basketball and not football. West gets the cream of the crop in athletes in Morristown because Lincoln Heights is on the west side of town.
ETNFtball
From what I have heard, the coaches had words with each other, not as much as with the players. No one likes to lose, players nor coaches. Increased emotions with this type of game. I did see improvement in several areas even though the score was no reflection of this. There are several good athletes on this team and it is a rebuilding team. There are some seniors that are doing a great job in their positions. Zack Cosby, Rob Davis, Austin Coker,Steven Ray, Beasly are a few of the seniors that are standing out. I think Chris Wilson and Blake Garretson will also make some things happen as soon as they are released to play. There are some more players that are doing a great job but I am not sure of their names. Sorry. Have a great game this week !
fbman16
If he's so firmly in place why did the man show interest in a GA job opening in North Ga. I guessing so he could make a sweeter deal for himself in Mo'town.if the pay isn't what he desires should have chosen a differnt profession. laduke
We tend to try to find any reason outside of our kids are just not as good as theirs are, on the football field.

But, if you think this is unique to Morristown EAST, you need to get out more. We'd be more effective if this thread was about high school programs where the coaches don't cuss. A program without the language is the exception to the rule....and I know before you all reply, there are some out there. But, I believe you'd have to agree, not many. (BTW, Can't believe you used Coach Woods as the other side of the coin. WOW! Better keep looking) Have to say, Tollah, enjoyed your response. Good post. PLACALL
Welcome to High School Football. You need to come see the Knox Central Coaching staff. Talk about a cussing. The military has nothing on the Central high coaching staff.
medman
what is it Placall, bash Central week for you? I doubt that you attend the Central practices. Some of the coaches that used the saltier language are no longer there. It is nothing like what you claim. Also, this is a thread about Mo East football. PLACALL
I did not realize that Coach Helton had left. I do agree that some coaches had left with a not so clean mouth, but the last time I looked Coach Helton was still there.
