Knox Halls @ Powell

Only 6 more days til the rivalry. Any comments? Halls showed massive improvement this past week against a dismal South Doyle squad (which doesnt say much), and Powell has appeared strong against both Karns and Morristown (also not saying much). It will be interesting to see how the two teams play in what should be a close, evenly matched game. This one will be a fight to the finish and should come down to who wants it more during this bitter rivalry. Other comments?

Powell will roll in this one. They just have too many weapons with Watts and Smith on offense. They also have size which will dominate Friday.

I thought Halls and Powell were already a big rivalry. Not an up and coming one. And yes Cody Watts will run and pass all over Halls for the win.

Yes, it is a big rivalry. I work with a guy that went to Powell and he says he hates Halls. It would be like Oak Ridge to us.

I was at the Powell and Karns game and Powell did beat the crap out of Karns and that isn't much the only good thing from Karns is the fursner kid or however you spell it , but on the Halls and Powell game I think Halls will come in to Scarboro stadium and win a close ballgame and for the 2005 Seniors in the student section at Halls you all have let down everyone so far in this football season get behind your team and maybe the wont disapoint you guys anymore cause the student sections I remember were wild and they didnt care about anything period

Halls will beat Powell , the only reason that everyone thinks Powell is so great is because of there line, but what about Halls' line I believe that Cox,Vandergriff, Horner, and Newgent are pretty good and they also have a headhunter at linebacker in Lankford, Lucas matches up with Watts and does Powell even have a runningback? No receiver for Powell except for Lee Smith matches up with Halls receivers and I do believe Halls also has two good Tightends in May and Black so I believe Halls has an upperhand on Powell so I think I have talked myself into a new score!
