Trading Game Film

We have had trouble with the last 2 game films we traded for not being any good(can't see formations and bad angles). What are some of you coaches doing to combat bad film swaps?

If a coach will not trade with you an honest (second generation) copy of the video... then you can call other coaches they have played and at least ask questions. Some coaches will allow you to come to their office and watch the film and others will trade tapes (off the books). You do have a question of ethics, but that also applies to the guys who like to edit and doctor the videos (i.e. run them through things or use very old tapes to copy over other games).
