What team in east TN,has the best D?

i think webb has the best D in knoxville maybe even in east tennessee. they have not aloud more than 100 yards rushing this whole season. they only gave up 43 yards from albert harris from AE and he is 1 of the best RBs in the state. courtney braswell from Baylor was held under 100 also. this defense is one of the reasons they are so good this year. they can go up agaisnt anybody.

Maryville has a very good defense. Alcoa is the only team to score on Maryville's 1st team. Maryville has given up 24 points all year. 6 of them was on a kickoff return vs Alcoa.

 

Alcoa averages nearly 40 points a game and the Maryville defense held them to 12 points.

Dobyns Bennett has the best D I've seen. 2nd half vs Jeff County - no first downs, no passes completed, -4 yards rushing. I don't think any other teams are going to do that this year - after seeing Shiverdecker in action, I'm not sure any others can.

Maryville has got one of the better defenses that has been seen at the school in a few years... I'd say they've got a shot at having the best in East TN

Of course I am partial to my Vikings, but their D seems to be pretty strong this year. With the starters in they have given up less than 20 points. The teams that have scored 14 against them have come late against the young guys.

Defensively, they have alot of team speed, and it kills.

I think Johnson County has a great D this year. They have only allowed 14 points thus far this season. Overall our schedule hasn't been spectacular, but well see how we do as the season moves along.

Harsh, Waco Jaco, do you ever get out of the house by the way? Also, bud, there is no way I would want to meet you my man, from your intimidating posts you are either a tough ex-footballer or a punk with little man syndrome. either way, i am completely terrified. Also, I think McCallie's is better than good ole Maryville's. We'll see, but they held Central to 10 points. i doubt Maryville's D will be able to do that, especially with Gaston and Scott, but we'll see!

I think McCallie may have the best argument right now for best defense, considering the caliber of teams they have played.

very true, very true, but if its just a friendly game of NCAA, I would love to play you! I enjoy the game very much. it is a lot of fun. yes, you are right about the steamrolling part. I am eating my vitamins and vegetables every day, though. I'll get bigger, one day.....
