I totally agree with reilly52 it should be a great game. The Raiders are (3-5) in all and (2-2) in the region. The mindblower, they are (3-1) at home. The Raiders are coming into this game with 2 region victories in a row, which, should make this a real momentum shift for Richland. They are playing really well right now and they also have the homefeild advantage. Last year, with the panthers having all their "studs" the Raiders scored 2 touchdowns within the first 3 minutes of the ball game. Going into the 2nd quarter the Raiders were up 12-0. Them Raiders let the Panters catch up to them though. The new RAIDERS, dont give up which they showed that in the game this past friday night with their win over Waverly Central. The new Raiders are looking for a playoff seed. So, if your in Richland's way you better watch out. The Raiders have broke out. I say it is a 6 point game.

Richland's Defense has been key this year.........so Lewis County better get ready to pass.  Look at how they held Creekwood.  Look how they continually stopped Waverly the other night.  Richland keeps getting better and better with each game.  If we can stop some of the predictability.........then they will go far.  Offensively, both teams scored pretty much the same against Cheatham County and Fairview.  Richland playing these teams at the beginning of the season, and Lewis County, playing these contenders these past two games.  I don't know how much Lewis County has improved with the season.......but Richland has dramatically improved with the season.  In short, when Richland played awful, they still scored about the same as Lewis County against these 2 top teams.  Richland doesn't fair as well in this comparison on defense......but again........that was at the beginning of the season.  And when it comes to Lewis County, Richland has always made them work for the win in years past.....even during their 20 game loosing streak.  So it'll be close........but I know for a fact.....RICHLAND IS HUNGRY!!!!

You cannot compare Lewis Co. and Richland by how many points they scored against two other "contenders"!! Let me explain...Lewis Co. scored a touchdown in each of its games against Fairview and Cheatham Co....Richland did as well!! the thing you are overlooking is that Lewis Co. ALSO held both Fairview and Cheatham to 3 touchdowns a piece, as opposed to roughly 5 or 6....Lewis Co. scored both its touchdowns on the VARSITY teams of both Fairview and Cheatham! So if you want to go by numbers, there they are! This game MAY be close, but i still think the outcome will be in favor of the Panthers, that is, after playing both teams already myself!

Well if you didn't know, Lewis County beat Loretto 34-7(i think), Waverly 14-0, and Giles County something like 35-14..... i'm not sure Richland can compete with the defense, or offense of LC.... If they only beat WAverly by a field goal, then it is gonna be a disaster for Richland, mostly because they stink at everysport...and if Loretto, or Giles County beat Richland, it is also gonna be a disaster for Richland, so its pretty much gonna be a disaster for Richland....

He probably isn't tough enough to even play football......looks to me like Golf is his game.......and if one of our best golfers hadn't broke his wrest and couldn't compete in Regionals........he'd probably get beat BY RICHLAND on the golf course!!! He needs to go play putt putt golf somewhere while us GROWN UPS talk about football.

Actually the funny thing is, we DID beat RICHLAND on the golf course, and i could have sworn my score beat ALL of the individuals on Richland's team.... the scoreboard could have been lying though....No harm no foul..... LC wins big and that is my OPINION, which is what this board is about and in my opinion it will be a disaster for Richland...Funny thing is i played football for 5 years and i played the position that was the toughest MLB, started 3 years, so i guess i AM tough enough to play, and with the 2 year lay off from football, i could still go to Richland and start.....
