LEONARDS LOSERS Zion Academy, The Rebels of Tipton-Rosemark Academy on a 5 week tear before losing two in a row to Bishop Byrne and Trinity Christian. They fought back last week and gave Memphis Catholic a 50-0 loss at home. The Eagles host the Rebels and it does not look good for the home team. The Eagles playing an 8 game schedule are 3-4. Tipton-Rosemark Academy by 28.

LEONARDS LOSERS Hampton, The Chucky-Doak Black Knights are 3-5 and will be traveling East up to Hampton. While both teams are not having the type of season they had wished the road does not get much easier down the stretch. Both teams need the win. Chucky-Doak by 12.

LEONARDS LOSERS Claiborne Co., The Wartburg Central Bulldogs are traveling to New Tazewell to take on the also Bulldogs. The two struggling Bulldog teams will be in a battle to be top dog. Wartburg has a chance to pull the 4th place spot in playoffs for the region 2-2A. Wartburg by 5.

LEONARDS LOSERS Wayne Co, The Mt Pleasant Tigers are the best 1A team in Tennessee. While the Wildcats of Wayne Co. might be real close. The battle for region 6A is on the line. These two felines are ready to battle. With the Tigers offense averaging 51.6 points per game in outdoes the Wildcatts by 21.1 points. The Wildcats are averaging 30.5 per game. On Defense the Tigers are only allowing 4.375 points per game, while the Wildcats are allowing 11.5 per game. This could be the closest game for Mt Pleasant yet. This will be a great game, but in the end it will spread out. Mt Pleasant by 21.

LEONARDS LOSERS Moore Co., The Huntland Hornets are Traveling to Lynchburg and hoping not to get caught by the mob. While these two teams can still make the playoffs, this will be about 3 or 4th. Will be one of the better games of the year. The most competitive region in Tennessee. Huntland by 6.

LEONARDS LOSERS Shelbyville, The Lawrence Co. Wildcats are 4-4 and hosting the 2-6 Golden Eagles. This win is will be about playoff spots. The Wildcats can still take the 2nd or 3rd spot, but several things will have to happen. Not likely that The Eagles will make the playoffs. Lawrence Co. by 16.

LEONARDS LOSERS Kingston, Falcons of Fulton are not the same team as last year, but are still winning games. While the Yellowjackets are winning as well. They knocked off Anderson Co, and Lenoir City in back to back weeks. Although they lost games to Gibbs and Rockwood, they are back to their winning ways. The Falcons have lossed to Lenior City and Austin East. Could be a good game. Falcons by 16.

LEONARDS LOSERS Sullivan North, The Seymour Eagles have bounced back after opening the season with 3 straight losses. The Eagles have pulled out 5 since for the win column. Both teams are 5-3 and hoping to continue their success to earn better spots in the playoff. Actually could decide region champion. Seymour by 10.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
