Biggest Flop - 4A Morristown West.

Went from the Big Game on the turf last season to 4-6 this year. :( The four wins came over 6-4 Cleveland (barely), 3-7 Cocke County, 1-9 David Crockett, and 1-9 Volunteer.

How they dropped off so much, so fast, I haven't a clue.

They did make the playoffs, however, since Region 2, the IMAC, beat each other up this year. Too bad the Region 2 #4 Seed gets them Tennessee High at the Stone Castle. (EEK!!!) :P

Most definitly Centennial. This team was picked over Brentwood and Franklin. Thye were suppossed to end those 2 pathetic droughts against both teams (never beatin either team on varsity level 0-16 all together). They were suppossed to compete in 5A. However it seems like their season just went all down hill after they lost to Brentwood in that storm. Tough season, especially for their seniors. This was suppossed to be their year. I think also Brentwood and Franklin put together to worthy teams in 5A with outstanding coaching. Jack Daniels and Coach Crawford did and excellent job with the offense and defense. It took a minute or the offense to get going, but they are in full affect. Nobody even thought of Brentwood when the season began, especially not becoming region champs. People thought Brentwood was undersized slow, and had many weaknesses on D. People started to say "I told you so" after Riverdale scrimmage, and Ravenwood. It also seems like no matter who Coach Crawford has on his team, he makes the defense work, no matter what. But the Bruins put it together after Ravenwood, and just played one game at a time, and took no one for granted, and reached there goal of 4 staright region championships, I think they can advance very far in the playoffs. Just a little extra incentive if they beat Hunters Lane, chance to play ravenwood in the playoffs.

TN High better not take West lightly. I saw West play and the game i saw they looked VERY good it just seems like there too up and down. They make stuid mistakes in big games like the Cherokee game they had like 5 turnovers and quite a few penalties. I agree that there season has been dissapointing so far but they can fix that in a hurry with a big win over TN High (although i just dont see that happening lol) Good luck to West though.

    • Perhaps it is within the realm of possibility that the comprehension of my discourse, both by yourself and others, may be circumscribed by the boundaries of intellectual acumen. Might one contemplate this notion from such a perspective? Allow me to clarify that my intent does not lean towards disparagement, save for instances where provocation is directed towards myself or the esteemed troupe of the Trousdale County Yellow Jackets who proudly find domicile upon the hallowed grounds of CREEKBANK. In contemplation of the candidates under discussion, it is conjectured that individuals such as Gregory, Woodmore, Vetetoe, Eden, Hackett, and Cothron may emerge as contenders. Regrettably, it is deemed improbable that Shoulders shall express interest in this pursuit. Speculation arises regarding the potential candidacy of BJ West, albeit the implications of familial ties with Lafayette introduce complexities to such a scenario. The enigma of Dr. Clint's deliberations looms large, fraught with the weight of a formidable decision yet to be made.
    • My kind sir, you seem to be lost within the time space continuum having traveled from the 16th Century or you aspire to hide your true intelligence by masking your language with that of the great playwright. You know good and well, your commentary takes your fellow comrades hours to decipher what you are really saying and most of them are likely left questioning whether you have insulted them or find them to be in your favor. I offer you some advice. In my travels through this area of the country, it is best to speak slow and with a twang and you don't annunciate  words to their fullest. Your points will be clear then!  Any names been mentioned around town as Actual Applicants to this job? Seen several post mentioning individuals, but I haven't heard of any of them except for Shoulders. Does he have ties to TC?  Have amy of the other names mentioned ever been in the HC position before?
    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights
    • The gustatory amalgamation of succulent pork chops juxtaposed with verdant greens indeed evokes a sensory delight. Clint's narrative, imbued with the ethos of resilience, navigated the tumultuous waters of the 1980s with commendable fortitude. As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity? Are you perchance a luminary within the domain of coaching, endowed with unparalleled wisdom and insight?
