sportsradiotn
There will be three Memphis teams playing 1A schools next season in Manassas, Middle College and Westside - so, those will get the attention of west TN teams during the season. Seems sensible because of travel issues, but would create a really, really difficult schedule.

We'll find out next week how the districts align.

The deadline to move up has come and gone.
Jtown
Nancy Baker @ southside high school (Jackson) is an outstanding junior combo guard. Her natural position is the one but she can flat out shoot the rock.
coach Pete
how can you forget about players from dyersburg who is probably one of the best teams in west Tn this year and they have three players to watch for 6'3 sophomore kayla holloway, senior wingman laceila newman, and junior point guard shuanda strayhorn. i'm not blowin smoke at you people these girls are too good to be left out on anyones list. ptc27
Anna Trull needs to be added to the list. While she plays for McKenzie, not a powerhouse team, she is a complete player. She can shoot the 3, drive to the goal, play aggessive defense, makes good passes, has great speed, can dribble, and sees the floor very well. And, she is a team player. DC#2
Watch out this year for: Mallory Akin and JeNell Fisk both from Dyer County 825418216[/snapback] Most definitely Mallory Akin is one of the best.
raynoc
People in Perry County know Edney is the real deal but one of them told me the Gleason point guard was pretty good too.
sam_jones
I think one of the best players in west TN is Anna Trull of McKenzie. She is a sophomore! Did I just say a SOPHOMORE? During her freshman year, she was all-district and all-West TN honorable mention. So far this year, she scored 18 pts playing only the first half in a jamboree in Huntingdon and in her first game on Tuesday night she scored 29 pts and did anything and everything on the court. She hit like 7 3's. Sounds like the player in West Tn to be watching to me!!!
