if this is a high skool sport, then why isn't swimming.. i would think that swimming would take a little bit more athleticism and endurance than being at a bowling alley smoking and drinking beer

First of all, most bowling alleys are not supposed to sell beer during the high school matches,(it is in the rules) and another thing, it is a sport. I know many of people who spend a lot of time at the bowling alleys, including myself. It actually takes effort, and it is not as easy as it seems. I would like to see some of you who think it is not a sport through a ball down a lane that is oiled and get a strike and do the exact same thing on a lane that is dry. What do you think will happen?
