Thoughts on Patrick Turner, where will he go?

According to the Tennessean, Turner said Friday night that UT is way down on his list and that he'll probably not take an official visit here.  Poor misguided youth...

I haven't seen him play...but UT is loaded at receiver for years to come. He would have to be great to step on the field anytime soon.

I agree with Antwan. He is a wonderful athlete but I fear he is in for a major surprise when he gets to college. He needs to get stronger and faster and start giving his best effort consistently.

 

Having said that, he has been a major target of UT's recruiting efforts.

Obviously...he is very talented to be rated as he is. It doen't matter where he ends up...he will have to give his all to play. The competition is ferocious.

Well he has plenty of time to think about it now.........Big players step up in big games and I didn't see that from him at all this year....But he will go D1 but in my opinion his high school career was underachieved.

South Carolina wouldn't be a bad choice.  USC and UT are loaded at reciever.  Hannon by the way is the fastest player in UT history being times at 4.28.  He is also 6-4.

Robert Meachem runs a 4.3 and he's just a freshman.

if this guy was smart he'd go to MTSU where they throw the ball 5000 times a game. He would get playing time there.

If he went to MTSU he'd have to compete with a bunch of receivers too. I think he'd have a lot of success there but not until his sophomore or junior year.

if he wants the ball he better go with spurrier. shotgun and five wide is the easiest way for him to get on the field.personally i dont care for him. so go to UT so my hatred can grow for both of you.

i dont think hannon was the fastest... i actually think that leonard scott was the fastest... he ran tract and actually beat justin gaitlin in the 100 yrd dash... justin gatlin also won a gold medal at the olympics thumb
