In 1998, Victor Kidd moved along the LEFT side of the line. The corner and the OLB on that side didnt even know he moved. Our reciever outplayed both on that side and scored. Its not like they knew he went offsides and just didnt go after our reciever? It was a 5 yard out that turned into 6 points. I saw that tape. Good Luck Friday. Go Alcoa.

Once agaain you are 199% WRONG. It was on the right sideline and every player on that side of the field froze in disbelief.

The deal is theres only four people from Milan on here and about 16 from Huntingdon. The difference is they won. So they will get on here and play the role of smack talking all week and then when they win they expect you to be gracious in defeat. If Milan had won and I got on here and said Milan is the better team overall, there would be 20 posts in 5 minutes downing Milans program..Only thing with us is there is only two of us.

It seems like the point you just made should sink in, it's only two of you crying on each others shoulders.

to be sooo certain of yourself...you sure are wrong cuz i was at that game...we scored down the milan sideline to doc robertson going towards the scoreboard. we were in a pro formation which means he was the only wideout to the right side...victor kidd was on the left side...the play was pro 82.

you know, if you could have been as consistant on the field as you are on here, you could have probable won the game by yourself, that is if you were actually on the field. you know, driving the 4 wheeler for the band doesnt count. even westtnstate could play the clarinet.

Mustang 69.. He's right. The play that scored went to the right but Kidd was on the left. Kidd moved but it had no bearing on the pass being completed. The play should have come back and Milan assessed a 5 yd penalty. I looked up that night to a friend from Milan and gave him the motion signal and he acknowledged me and shook his head yes but threw up his hands to say "what can I do about it". I see that play over and over but Westtnstate2004 and others, I have learned to get over it. That's what football teaches you. Be gracious in winning and in losing. Life's lessons can be learned from it. If you would be complimentry of other teams don't you think they would do the same back to you. Be proud you played for the Bulldogs and you're from Milan. I'm glad I played for the blue and gold and live in Huntingdon. One of the classiest things I saw when we played in the Championship in 1999 was a bed sheet saying "Central Tigers say go Mustangs". Guess what! They kicked our butt during the regular season. I'm through on this thread... Go luck to you!

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
