Hey, not to change the subject, but what time does Wal-Mart close tonight? I gotta get some Sudafed so I can make some.............well you know......? Nah, I'm just kiddin' ...........I had to say something stupid to hopefully break the tension in here. I say we all get together and listen to some shock hardcore music and have a Mosh Pit. You would be surprised how good it makes ya feel!!!!!! Good luck at state Huntingdon. Hey, "have ya'll seen my boots"? Later dudes.

Correct. Remember it well. He even looked at the huntingdon crowd when he did it and threw his hands up like he knew he had been caught.

Hardhead70... You do have a memory. Mustang69.. You're correct on that. He was on the Huntingdon side when he jumped. That play cost us a state championship. Milan goes on to drill UC and the win the state. You learn to get over it just like I'm telling Weststatetn2004. I said I was through on this thread and I mean it... <_<

you know, if you could have been as consistant on the field as you are on here, you could have probable won the game by yourself, that is if you were actually on the field. you know, driving the 4 wheeler for the band doesnt count. even westtnstate could play the clarinet.

The ref's did a fine job on cleaning up the High School level ball game. No wrist bands on the elbow's or on the legs to show off. Just smash mouth football the way it is suppost to be. Both teams played well and I hope that Huntingdon brings the the Gold Ball to the West...... If Milan had won I would of pulled for them for I want any team from the west to win since the west get a bad rap and no newspaper support. Two players from Nashville get named for Mr. Football and no one from the East is sad. 96.5 ESPN needs to start there own Mr. Football Award winner. Next Alcoa.

Milan goals for 2004 ,state champs, ( that's not going to happen) region 7aa champs (nope) Gibson county champs ( finished third) . You have a great program and a lot of players I admire, just start showing other teams and towns a little more respect. Huntindon beat you again forget it and move on .

Wow, another classic. I expected a 5-7 point game, but I never would have thought it would have been 12-7! Good luck against Alcoa. It appears they have a big stud running back that will have to be stopped(but so does Huntingdon), but I think Huntindon can do it.

Huntingdon/Alcoa should be a close game.

Mustang 69, I didn't realize you played youth sports with some of the same legends that I did. I can remember batting against Freddie Hill when I was 12 and never saw the ball! Whatever happened to him? I heard he made it to AAA with the Yankees, but I"m not sure.

He was actually called up to the bigs a couple of times. The last I heard from him he was in the Oakland organization I think.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
