So there are plans for a pep rally?  Last year's was lacking.  Maybe this one will be better.

I think it would be neat to have a big group there at the buses to cheer the group off.

I think there are already 4 passenger buses filled and this was just after the first day.  I know there are also still people trying to get some more added.  Greenbrier will have a large following for this one.

My son came home and told me there was. I called the school earlier and this is what I was told. I hope it turns out great and people turn out big time. The day after Thanksgiving is a big shopping day for a lot of people but I say "get your priorties straight!" :) Hope all of Greenbrier will spread the word --

4 buses? Wow--a great turn out so far! Our family is driving down and look forward to a great, hard hitting game.

Again---GO BOBCATS! Stay focused, and bring home a WIN!

an escort from ridgetop to the school after the win would be nice, people lining the street to the school. that would be the real deal.

It looks like GB will be a ghost town Friday.

It would be interesting to know the turnover ratio of Kingsbury this year.

My take on this game will be TURNOVERS!!!

Greenbrier defense will take over again. During last week's game it was important that the SS QB have a big game....and... that didn't happen. The QB for this week has some similarities but the Greenbrier O-line and D-line...also known as the "Green Curtain"...will "stifle" the Kingsbury offense. I am still waiting for someone to let me know when the last time a 3a team drove the ball down the Bobcats' throat.

Field conditions will favor the Bobcats.....I swear those guys are part duck......I heard when the season is over ...they put up duck blinds on the 20 yd line and the 50 yd line....ha!

Greenbrier due for the offense to "bust" out!!!

Greenbriar is a 3 or 4 year wonder. About like ALL schools in Cheatham County are. We both dont have the talent pool to be successful year in year out. I didnt mean to seem derogatory in any nature j groves. I wish you and White House the best of luck and to bring home a state championship each. BUT relish it, this opportunity doesnt come around often. (As evident in both yours and our programs playoff history, it wasnt that long ago Greenbriar won their 1st playoff game ever or Cheatham Co hosting their own 1st home playoff game.) We'll see how we both bounce back next year after successful years this year.

Good luck!!!!!!! Go git em bobcats!!!!!!!!!

And my prediction (and hope) is Greenbriar vs. Fulton for the big golden ball!!!!

I think if you look at any program you'll see years like this. Greenbrier has been fortunate to have a really large class for this years seniors. Around 250 kids at times. This class, as well as last years class, had some really good athletes in it and when you get several of these type classes playing together for a few years, they all make each other better. That's what Greenbrier has been working with the last few years. These classes have been winning at most everything since ages 6 and 7. I'd guess that you'd see this same situation at other small towns that are having a good run. Greenbrier will have some down years but hopefully it won't be too down or for too long. It's not as easy to reload in the small towns as it is in the larger cities.

Getting down to the wire---two more days! Hopefully with school out the Bobcats will get in some extra practice, rest, practice and rest some more. The coaches, I'm sure, are doing their job in dissecting film and getting this boys ready to go. I'm sure every Bobcat fan is like me, wishing you could stop every player at the lockerroom door and give them a quick pep talk, but not enough time for that. I'm sure the coaches will take care of that too.

Bobcats, nothing can take away the success you've had. For every down there will be something different remembered by each player. For every game, there will be a memory for the less experienced guys standing on the sidelines just waiting for their turn to be out there. Each and every one of you have wrapped your lives around football practice in all kinds of weather, dealing with gear, bus rides, but most of all the thrill of victory. Your parents, friends and family have been there to wish you the best, worry about the ones that are hurt, and cheer for each one of you week in and week out and to meet you outside that locker room with handshakes and hugs after each game, win or lose. We are proud of all of you.

This week you take another step to finish what you started last year. You know what it takes and your drive and intensity can get this job done. We know the opponent is good too, but we believe in you guys. Go into Memphis and show them what Greenbrier football is about. And again, your fans will be there...cheering you on. Don't think about Murfreesboro, or anything but Kingsbury. Greenbrier and many other teams are behind you. WE BELIEVE IN YOU, BOBCATS! Bring home a "W"!!

Wishing Greenbrier all the luck in the world to keep this thing going. Just remember the determination you brought to White House back in September. Take that to Memphis! One question to think about Bobcats:

HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT???

That's what I thought. thumb Bring home that win. White House is cheering you on.

(Maybe Memphis will announce the updates on the scores at the other local playoffs on the PA's.)
