Who will repeat as State Champions?

Wanted to get some input here. I think that there are at least four of the five still in the hunt.

No way, not this year. DCA is too tough and if they stay healthy they win easily.

I don't know enough about 3A and 4A to comment, but here is my take on the rest.

 

5A: Riverdale. They are in a class by themselves this year and even on a bad day for them they will beat any competition. I don't think Germantown can repeat.

 

2A: I think Lipscomb have really stepped up to the plate after a poor opener. I expect they will play Huntigdon again at MTSU, but this time it will go the other way.

 

1A: This will also be a repeat matchup from last year of Boyd vs DCA. Both are playing really good football and I think this will be the best game of all the state finals. DCA are definitely a far stronger team than they were last year (remember they had a couple of key injuries), I believe it will be extremely hard for Boyd to repeat.

If Boyd plays to their full potential w/ everybody healthy they will repeat as state champions. I know DCA is tough and they are, they are a great team, but if Boyd plays ball nobody in the state in 1A can touch them.

why do you think it will go the other way. have you seen huntingdon play. thats what everybody was saying last year about how good and unbeatable lipscomb was. if they both get back it will not be the other way around you can count on that

Thats right, because Lipscomb wont be playing Huntingdon.

I'll only comment on class AA but, for the moment I would say that Huntingdon has a good chance to repeat.

 

Now, don't go gettin' all upset Bulldog fans. It's just that Huntingdon really took it to a very good Camden team last night and that isn't to say that Carver wasn't good. My point is that it's chunch time and Huntingdon seems to have finally stepped to the plate with their workhorse offense and a much improved defense. That could be bad news for a lot of folks in the next two weeks!

Beinf from West Tennessee (obviously), I would love to say Huntiongdon. Althought they do have a chance to repeat, they don't have the best. I'd have to say Boyd has the best chance down in 1A.

(3A) Fulton will probly repeat as state champs.

DCA is a completely different team than last year. If they get past USJ on Friday they will be tough in State.
