Greenbrier beat Jo Byrns tonight 61-29. They played and looked alot better than last week against Sycamore. Stats from Greenbrier

 

Kenton Coleman- 14 pts, 1 reb

Kurt Caton- 14 pts

Jeffrey Brant- 12 pts, 8 reb

Logan Greer- 8 pts, 5 reb, 5 blocks

Justin Dorris- 4 pts

Lance Adams- 3 pts, 5 reb, 2 blocks

Jonathon Lister- 3 pts

Brooks Rauschenberger- 2 pts, 2 reb, 1 block

Curtis Crawford- 1 pt

great job cats. looks like you are off to a good start. i hope to be able to make some games this year. i will be keeping tabs on you from out of town. you have a great senior class. make the best of it and play each game like it will be your last. aldridge will be a plus after the football teams wins a state championship.

 

which colleges are looking at coleman and brant?

Greenbrier was able to hang with these teams last year and we only lost one player this year. I know that MLK didn't lose but one player, but DL lost alot of guards(their post game will be good though). And SC lost one of their best players in Bates, but still have Jones and Brinkley. I saw (and played against him last year) and he was pretty good and athletic. How much better has he gotten this year.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
