sam_jones
Has anyone heard about this guy from McEwen HS named Daniel Puckett. I watched him the other day against Stewart Co. and he manhandled every player on the court. One dunk I thought he might have hit his chin on the rim. He can straight play some ball. Has anyone else seen or heard about him?
sportfreak
Puckett is one of the premier players in 1A. He signed to play at Tulane. Great player, fun to watch.

sportsfan101
If you haven't heard of him you must be living under a rock. Puckett is a very real deal, very similar to Matthew Dotson at Hickman County, though he might be better. He can play outside or inside and can jump very well. Wish he had of stayed with an SEC school so we could watch him play.

Tulane was the best school lookin at him. 825451622[/snapback] ah not so grasshopper, d.p. was determined to sign early. hated the recruiting process. sec schools wanted him to wait as he was in their second tier. he could have most definitely went sec if not signing early. the tulane coach admitted as much, he thinks he came to middle tenn. and stole one from bigs
