The annual Holiday Inn Thanksgiving Tournament will begin Friday morning at Bradley Central. The tournament will run thru Sunday afternoon.

 

The schedule---

 

Friday Game 1---10:00 a.m. Hazel Green, Alabama vs. Pigeon Forge

Game 2---11:30 a.m. Antioch vs. Hall

Game 3--- 1:00 p.m. Webb School of Knoxville vs. Powell

Game 4--- 2:30 p.m. Bradley Central vs. Giles County

Game 5--- 4:30 p.m. Hazel Green/Pigeon winner vs. Wilson Central

Game 6--- 6:00 p.m. Antioch/ Hall winner vs. Greeneville

Powell played fairly good basketball although I'm sure the coach wouldn't agree, but this was a tournament loaded with state-bound teams. They never could get consistent offense and Ogan was matched up with players just as big, but faster than her.

Powell's coach was not there this weekend (I heard) due his wife being very sick.

Coach Young's wife died Saturday night and the girls have had a rough start not having him there to coach them. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Coach Young and his family!!
