Well, there is a changing of the guard occuring in West TN football. The STANGS have once again proven their worth. Best of luck to the Bulldog faithful, your program is still the one everyone in West Tn wants to emulate. To the boys in Blue and Gold you have to play another 48 minutes of hard nosed football and you will bring home that 2nd GOLD BALL. Congrats on getting back to the boro, but there is still one more game to play. Who says defense dont win championships.

Final Score

Huntingdon - 28

Alcoa - 7

Good job Hunt. Congrats on a grat win in a great game. Good Luck next week!! Thought Milan made a mistake when it was 4th and 1 @ midfield when they punted instead of going for the 1st down. Milan punts Hunt goes 80 yds scores and Milan does not have enough time to score. Had Milan gotten the 1st down Hunt may not have had time to score. Had Milan not gotten the 1st down and Hunt scores from 50 out then Milan leaves themselves some time to do something.

Congrats to Huntingdon ...excellent game by both teams...the 80 yard drive in the 4th qtr. was a "drive for the ages"....this Milan fan is sad, but will be in the 'Boro rooting for the 'Stangs next Friday...keep the Gold Ball in West TN.....

Several years ago Huntingdon defeated Westview in Dresden in a state playoff game and drove the ball 75 yards in the closing minutes to win the game. We call it "The Drive" here in Huntingdon... I think this drive will supercede that and take it's place in Mustang history. To drive the ball in the semi's against Milan to advance to the Championship game is really mind boggling! Two great teams from two great programs is the best. Keep it going Big Blue! My hat is off to the Bulldogs too!
