Pioneerman
Can the teams from this region compete for a championship?
LEONARDSLOSERS
Not if they can't beat a rebuilding team from Region 2-3A. The region just East of you just got even tougher. With the addition of Livingston Academy and Knoxville Cathlolic, it will be hard to compete with that region after the regular season is over. rooty toot
I think East Ridge will be the favorite from region 3. With a nine team region anything can happen!
LEONARDSLOSERS
Should be a more competitive region, until playoffs come. Not to sound so harsh, but just stating the facts. East ridge should be at the top of this region soon. I would rank then in the top 3 at least of the region.
dt65
im going to go with polk county for the region championship. i look for them to do great things next season with 20 seniors and well over half of them with playing time. the coach there will have them hyped up and ready to go but first we must play copper basin. KevB1990
The sad thing is all of this nonsense with a 9-team region could've been avoided if the TSSAA would take their head out of the place where the sun don't shine.
Sequatchie
Can the teams from this region compete for a championship? 825482472[/snapback] I really believe that if a team is good enough they can compete for the title and it doesn't make a diffrence what region they are from! Case in point Boyd Buchanan. Now a real early look on how I think the region will turnout. My pick is Polk County they are big and strong with 70+ on roster and only graduated around 11 seniors and the return I think almost all starters. 1) Polk County 2) East Ridge 3) Meigs County 4) Grundy County 5) Notre Dame 6) McMinn Central 7) Tellico Plains 8) Howard 9) Sequoyah
ELA
East Ridge will have a very explosive team with two or three of the fastest players in the region. Tony Taylor (T1) and the other Tony (T2) will be tough to beat IF Coach James and staff can put an offensive line together that can block each week. From a skill position they will have a decided advantage with all the track stars at East Ridge!
