He always signed his autographs with a bible verse....I would have to look at it to remember which number it is. I remember the verse is about how much God loves us. I'll try to find it when I get home later. I wanna say it was Corinthians....

Anyway, another sign of what was always on Reggie's mind. thumb

As you might imagine, Reggie had huge, huge hands. Every time I shook his hand, my hand disappeared haha. He was just a great guy. I wish I would have known him better than I did.

If I could be like one single athlete in the history of sports, it would be Reggie White. His character and integrity will always be remembered by anyone and everyone he encountered.

One of my best friends is his niece, and I know that he is every bit and more of the man we have watched over the years on TV. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. The city of Chattanooga, the state of TN, and the United States has just lost one of the best all around people we'll ever see! We'll miss you Reggie!

VERY sad news. Reggie White will always be one of the best in my eyes. Lots of heavy hearts not only in Tennessee, but all over. He was a true gentle giant that I will always remember being the best on the football feild as well as off the feild. :D

May God be with his family and friends in this time of sorrow.

Did anyone happen to see the piece that NFL on Fox did about Reggie this morning?  It was a very good, but at the same time a very sad, presentation.  They did a great job on it, and they seemed to capture the REAL Reggie!

I didn't get to see. I really wish I could've.

    • I hear the Stansberry kid is having receiver's come out all the time to help put in some work.    RWR!! I hope 20+ kids are showing up.
    • I think that pretty much sums it up, really. To be perfectly honest, I'm far less sour about Eagleville getting to host themselves in the state tournament every year than I am the fact that we find ourselves in a position that we have to play STATE TOURNAMENT games at a blamed Single A facility.
    • It's time to put away with the award. 18 players selected, and 17 of those players are from Middle and East Tennessee. I guess they don't play baseball in West Tennessee. I understand there will be players that were "snubbed." We can make a legit argument that it occurs in Mr. Football and as well as Mr./Mrs. Basketball. But baseball is not a place where we can sit here and say "these are the 3 best players in this class and that class."  And we got to get rid of these polls bullcrap that's being released. It's all nonsense.
    • Thanks. I'm just trying to understand how this process works.   It seems like a bit of a sweetheart deal to me but the cookie has to crumble somewhere I guess.
    • He won’t got anywhere he has it made in h20 he prob makes almost what a head coach in t c makes plus there’s not as much pressure there everyone is a use to the losing there. I say he will be there for many years just waiting for Webster to leave…
