937 yards last season? Heck no, he shouldn't retire. If he loves the game, he should stay. He still gives 100%, and we all know that he will enter the Hall of Fame as a Dallas Cowboy!!! Emmitt is a class act and his work ethic is amazing.

In fact, if Jerry Jones had've gotten his head/ego out of his rear that last year Emmitt was in Dallas, Emmitt would've had another 1,000 yard rushing season that year. Instead, Jerry thought Troy Hambrick was the superior back. Puh-leeze. We know how that ended.

I would have loved to see him get 1700 more rushing yards though and break 20,000 for a career!

Emmitt Smith is the NFL's all-time leading rusher with 18,355 yards. Which active running back is most likely to catch him?

Curtis Martin

Age: 31. Yards: 13,366

Marshall Faulk

Age: 31. Yards: 11,987

Edgerrin James

Age: 26. Yards: 7,720

LaDainian Tomlinson

Age: 25. Yards: 5,899

Clinton Portis

Age: 23. Yards: 4,414
