Evidently last night East was better...they won...(and I thought I had read that Sullivan Central was the best team in NorthEast Tennessee; they lost to Sullivan East, a good team, but a team tied for last in the Big 7 Conference...so...)

Congratulations to Coach Dyer and his Patriots...that's a big win...East has some talented players, who always play hard and last night achieved a good win.

East AND Central are good teams, but that game was close. I think that last 3 point shot by Crowder was luck. No matter how you look at it.

If he hadn't scored that, anything could have happened.

But congratulations to East on that win.

Thankful for the Cougars, it wasen't a conference game.

We'll see if they are ready for Happy Valley on Tuesday.

I agree that Central is a good team...maybe not the best in Northeast TN (as has been stated numerous times), but certainly a very good team...last night East was 3 points better...I didn't see the shot that won the game, but Hunter Crowder has been hitting 3s his entire career @ East, so I don't know about the luck bit...was it a half court or longer shot or something? anything like the Guilford vs Randolph Macon college game that made ESPN's Sportscenter? Otherwise a normal set three from Crowder is not a matter of luck.

Good luck to your Cougars the rest of the way.

Thank you.

I haven't followed Crowder OR East very much throughout the season, so I guess you may know what you are talking about.

It felt like luck though, coming from a Cougar supporter and student. LOL.

And it may be because I have a bit of a grudge held against the Patriots :D

Central is stepping up their game this year in basketball. They are doing much better than they were at the beginning of the season. So we'll see what happens, eh?

very good game great job for east players and coaching. luck or not hunter made a good shot i dont have a problem with east but as far as our coaching staff  when a team comes  back from being dowm by 16 why dont you put in the starters back in before the game is tied! but great effort by east!

The starters went back in at the beginning of the 4th quarter! They still had a 5-point lead. Central's starters couldnt handle the hot shooting of East and Central forgot to play defense!!!!!!!!

I agree.

Am I the only one that has noticed the lacking rebounds for Central?

Especially in the past few games.

Who is usually our leading rebounder?
